What if I Experience Problems?

As you would expect online conferencing isn’t without it’s own unique challenges but by configuring Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro optimally we hope to reduce the potential for issues during the event.

Best Practices

Adobe recommends that for the best experience attendees:

- Use a wired network connection

- Close unneeded software

- On shared connections be aware of other users using part of the available bandwidth thus negatively impacting the connection to Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro

Audio Breaking Up

Choppy audio is where the audio you are receiving breaks up. This can be caused in one of two ways. It’s either us or it’s you!!

1. If all attendees have the same problems then it’s us

2. Alternatively if the sound is only breaking up for some attendees but not others it’s probably your Internet connection misbehaving

The best way to fix it is to logout and log back in again.

Lose Audio

If the audio stops completely, as with audio breaking up this can be caused in one of two ways. It’s either us or it’s you!!

1. If all attendees have the same problems then it’s us

2. Alternatively if the sound is missing for some attendees but not others it’s probably your Internet connection misbehaving

The best way to fix it is to logout and log back in again.

Screen Freezes

It is possible that the image displayed to attendees may break up or even freeze completely.

Although it doesn’t happen often as with previous problems the best advice is to logout and log back in again.
