Screen Capture on Windows

At the recent NWIITT Screen Capture event, one of the topics that we covered was the built-in methods of screen capturing on Windows.

Most Windows users are aware of the PrintScreen key, but many aren’t aware that you can use ALT+PrintScreen to capture the active window (this is often used to capture a dialog box).

The first screenshot below was taken by pressing PrintScreen and then cropping. There are still some unwanted parts of the background in the image.

The second screenshot was taken by pressing ALT+PrintScreen and required no cropping
