Mind Mapping with MindManager

Overview

Information overload?

Analyzing, planning, organizing, learning, problem solving, presenting, decision making and note taking are just some of the tasks daily facing most business professionals.

Mind Maps are a simple but infinitely versatile technique for improving the speed at which these tasks can be handled and the effectiveness of the time spent working on them. First described by Tony Buzan in the 1970′s Mind Maps have become a favourite methodology for numerous situations for millions of people.

If you haven’t used Mind Maps before you’ll be amazed at just how simple but immensely powerful they can be. Even if you have used them before you’ll be introduced to methods for improving your execution of the art.

Traditionally Mind Mapping has required a “pen and paper” approach however there are now several software solutions available to facilitate the creation of Mind Maps. We’ll be covering the Mind Manager application from MindJet in this presentation.

With more than 600,000 current licenses worldwide, Mindjet MindManager(r) is the industry leading information mapping software that helps business and government users visualize and manage ideas and information.

Mindjet MindManager provides an intuitive visual interface that rapidly captures, organizes, and shares all types of data. The result: more thorough analyses, better information management, smoother processes, and faster execution.

You have ideas, goals, options. How can you be sure to cover the small details and see the big picture and do it fast? Simple: visual thinking. Mindjet MindManager frees you to brainstorm around a central concept as you identify relevant issues and their relationships using visually intuitive rich-data maps.
