Review
As we said in the overview, there’s so much more to iTunes than music and Elaine’s whistle-stop tour showed us just that. She started with how to download, install and configure the application. iTunes is available for Windows and Mac and can be downloaded for FREE from Apple’s website.
Once the installation was complete, we learned about the interface, being taken through all the menus, shown how to perform searches and how to set different views.
Elaine showed how to subscribe to and download some of her favourite podcasts from the iTunes store including MacBites and Photoshop User TV.
Finally, we covered how to transfer your podcasts from your computer to your mobile device, including iPods and also how to use an iPod as a mobile learning device.
