iBooks Author – The Future of Learning

One of the current hot topics in the learning and education arena is Mobile Learning. Whilst the term may mean different things to different people, there can be no doubt that the proliferation of mobile devices into education and business has led to major new opportunities for training and learning content providers.

The latest company to jump onto the mobile learning bandwagon is Apple who last month released iBooks Author – a FREE tool which allows anyone to create interactive learning materials that can be accessed on a mobile device.

Apple expert Elaine Giles will show you how to build an interactive book using iBooks Author. Elaine has been creating training materials for over 20 years and she’ll teach you best practice as well as pointing out the gotchas of this new and exciting game-changing software.

All attendees will also receive a link to download an interactive iBook that Elaine herself has created. It’s almost 100 pages showcasing all the features of iBooks Author.
