Creating Video Based Training Materials

Overview

Following on from February’s highly entertaining and practical demonstration of software and methodologies for creating training materials tonight we move on to the creation of video training content.

We’ll be looking at how you can record training videos on your own screen using cost effective software and edit the recordings before looking at the options you have for delivering video content to your learners.

No previous knowledge required and all welcome so we hope to see you there.

** Special ‘After Hours’ Event **

Due to overwhelming popular demand we will be running a special session AFTER the main event tonight.

We will be having a practical demonstration of how to digitize your old vinyl albums or even those old cassettes which are still rattling around your car boot somewhere!

In fact the equipment we’re using tonight even works with 78′s so if any of our … err … more mature members have any favourites from their youth feel free to bring them along!!

We’ll be demonstrating:

  • Configuring the audio hardware (USB turntable and cassette player)
  • Installing the required software (which is FREE)
  • Capturing the audio
  • Converting the audio
  • Importing into iTunes
  • Exporting to iPod and mp3 players

So don’t miss our first After Hours special event.
