Review

Bridge is an application that ships with Adobe Elements and Creative Suite. It’s a File Manager for all the Creative Suite file types and for many other image file formats. I’d used the old version of the application, but only at a superficial level. It’s handy as an image preview tool when putting together a presentation and I’m looking for just the right image.

I didn’t realise that Bridge does a whole lot more including watermarking, batch renaming and other batch processing. It’s come a long way since it’s inception as just a file viewer inside Photoshop. Each application in the Suite now has a panel called “Mini Bridge”, a miniaturised version which provides the same functionality as Bridge, accessible from inside the individual application.

Once the demo had finished, Elaine took questions – and there were plenty of them. We then retired to the virtual chatroom for more, informal Adobe and training related chat.
