The Institute of IT Training is the world’s first professional body for IT training professionals. Launched in 1995, the Institute has made significant progress in developing and promoting high standards of excellence within the profession.

The North West Group (known as NWIITT) is the most “active” of the Institute’s regional groups. Our monthly meetings, social events and website provide you with some fantastic learning and networking opportunities.

The Group is managed by a team of local volunteers, under the stewardship of Elaine Giles and Mike Thomas. Elaine and Mike are both founder members of the IITT who gained “Fellow” status in 2003 and 2005 respectively.
